74 Days before our Wedding

74 more days and the most exciting event of my life will happen.

Below are the progress of our wedding:
CHURCH - full payment - thanks to my coordinator, Ms. Kath of THE ONE EXCLUSIVE for fixing our documents and going to the church.
CATERER - Purple Dish - paid 65% of the total bill - I avail their wedding cake, candy bars and mobile bars
PHOTOGRAPHER - J Lucas Reyes - booked
VIDEOGRAPHER - Bob Nicolas - booked
VENUE - Tagaytay Pacific Heights - booked
PREP HOUSE - T Chilline - booked - worrying because they're not answering on my email :S
BRIDAL CAR - Casa de Carlo - Vintage Mustang Car booked
FLOWERS FOR ENTOURAGE - Vatel Manila - booked
ON THE DAY COORD & EMCEE - The One Exclusive - Ms. Kath - She is very helpful on my planning even I upgrade my semi coordination 3 months before my wedding. everything runs smoothly on the wedding preps because of her. Even the completing of my suppliers, she is always make sure she have an output and even knowing their rates for you. I am so glad to have you
MAKU-UP ARTIST - Mayone Bakunawa - booked
MAKE-UP ARTIST (For the Entourage) - JAD MakeUp - Joy Antillon Dayag - she have a good portfolio and not expensive. If you are looking for someone who can do MakeUp for your entuorage so less worries and hassles for them, you may hire JAD.
WEDDING GOWN - Bhong from Dubai
SOUVENIRS - LED Candles - DIY
SHOES OF GROOM - yes!
GROOM'S ATTIRE - Mandarin suit from ZARA - yes!

I wish I can write my reviews in choosing the suppliers in each category. Will do that when I have time ok?

    Hi Ruth, I accidentally landed on your site because Im also on the lookout for wedding prep venue (btw, Im also a bride-to-be this Nov). I was interested with Chilline and I looked up for it. Sadly, I think you might be disappointed with the actual look of the house. Please take time to read this post (http://becausecandysaysso.blogspot.com/2013/07/chilline-t-house-in-tagaytay.html) and I hope you'll be able to change your venue very soon.

      Hi Mel Cee, Thank you for giving me that link. I actually visited that before I booked T Chilline. But I am not after on the toilet and baths and cabinets of the house. I more on the scenic view of the mount taal, the style of the house outside, the trees outside which is good in pictorial during preparation, the rooftop and the floor to ceiling glass window. I only paid 50k for the 3 days and 2 nights so I am considering that I just pay on those part which will be good in picture.

      Anyway, if some of the readers want to have a preparation house which have a good view of taal, good backyard for pictorial and good quality of the house inside like toilets and bedrooms, I would suggest to get Balai Taal. The place is awesome both inside and outside the house but I think the rent is time 3 of T Chilline.

Our Wedding Venue - Tagaytay Pacific Heights

Finally! I've got this 'this is it' feeling for our wedding reception. We loved Clear Water Resthouse two days ago but this fickle mind cannot stop searching for internet to keeping looking for the best venue that will suit all our needs and for the comfort of our guests. Tagaytay Pacific Heights - Entrance Tagaytay Pacific Heights - Pool Tagaytay Pacific Heights - Clubhouse Tagaytay Pacific Heights - Toilets Tagaytay Pacific Heights - Wedding Venue Here are the reasons why we loved Tagaytay Pacific Heights than Clear Water Resthouse: No. 1 - Accessibility from Caleruega Church to the Venue. TPH is 5 to 10 minutes away while CWR is 30 minutes away. No. 2 - Since our wedding ceremony starts at 6:00pm which will end up to 7:00pm plus extra time for the pictorial at the church so approximately 7:30pm, at this time there's no more view of taal. What's next after the Wedding?

To all my readers who keep reading this blog... thank you for the nice feedback I am getting through email. I was overwhelmed and didn't expect that this blog will help other brides and grooms too who are planning their wedding in Philippines. When I started this blog, I just want to write down all my thoughts like a diary where I can read it over and over again. After the wedding, we are amazed how God blessed our marriage.
