Wedding Make Up Artist - Mayone Bakunawa

It took me a year to decide who I want to beautify me on my wedding day. I always read Madge Lejano, Cherry Pacheco, Jessy Alto and Mayone Bakunawa on most of the blogs and forums I have read.

And when I checked their portfolios, I was amazed on the before and after shots of Cherry Pacheco. I inquired to her and got response but I find it expensive to think that the service is only for me and my husband.

My budget is around 15,000 php only but I want that my Make Up Artist will stay until I need her. Lol. With Cherry Pacheco, she will only do your make up then she can't stay until ceremony and reception. So it took me a couple of month to decide if I will get her because I really really like her portfolios but I find it expensive.

I tried to research again and find Mayone's portfolio also interesting! 3 months before the wedding, I inquired to her and saw her rates which is more expensive than Cherry. But I didn't stop since I have this 'this is it' feeling for her. She offered less 10,000 php as a special rate then less 10,000 php without trial makeup and 2 heads. I was really surprised because that's the right amount I am looking for.

Even I am pretty (lol) and I don't have much imperfections on my face - big eyes, my nose is not flat and my face is not fat - only chismis (Mayone's term on pimples). I still want that my makeup artist is well-experienced and have a good service to give me more confidence that will enhance my beauty during that day. Speaking of enhance, choose a make up artist which will enhance your beauty and not totally make your looks different ;) Just a thought!

As of March 2014 rates:

Madge Lejano - Additional 2 heads - Unlimited Retouch: 30,000 php (Out of town fee is not yet included)

Jesy Alto - Additional 2 heads - Unlimited Retouch: 25,000 php (Out of town fee is not yet included)

Cherry Pacheco - Additional 2 heads: 30,000 php + 8,000 php (tagaytay fee) = 38,000 php

Cherry Pacheco - bride and groom only: 20,000 php + 8,000 php (tagaytay fee) = 28,000 php

Mayone Bakunawa - Additional 2 heads - Unlimited Retouch: 35,000 php + 7,000 php (tagaytay fee) = 42,000 php - less 10,000 php as a special rate if I will book her within the week = 32,000 php

Mayone Bakunawa - bride and groom only - Unlimited Retouch: 15,000 php + 7,000 php (tagaytay fee) = 22,000 php - the package which I availed.

Lastly, I want to highlight Mayone's service. During the day of my wedding, I feel pampered and special because of her and our coordinator from The One Exclusive Avon. She gave me confidence to face everyone and do my walk which no one can give me. She always look on me and retouch me when needed. She even offer to hold my things like one of my assistant. This girl is really humble and amazing. That is why I am giving her this reviews as token of appreciation which she did during my wedding day. Truly exceeds expectations.

There are 4 people who will be with you during the preparation which will avoid to give you stress and hassle.
